BBQ Double Stack Burger

A Hamburger/cheeseburger can be made in countless different ways, But with the way I choose to make my burgers I think create a lot more flavor profiles within the different components that come with the burger, the type of sauce used, the type of cheese, and even the type of bun that is used.

Ingrediants: BBQ Sauce, Mayonnaise, Hot Sauce (Siracha), Minced Garlic, Half a large yellow onion, Half a dill pickle (or already cut pickle chips), 8 Ounces of ground beef, 2 slices of Swiss cheese, 1 Bulky Bun.

Prep the onions first: For prep you want to start with dicing up half an onion and sauté the onion in a pan with little bit of vegetable oil on medium to low heat for around 15-20 minutes so the onions can soften up and and have a nice golden brown flavor to them. take the onions out of the pan and place them on a paper towel to remove the excess oil on the onions and set aside. (Save the Pan)

Pickles: if not already cut up a pickle into 3 pickle chips

Hot BBQ Aioli: depending on how much sauce you want use for your burger or any side you want to use for your burger, you want to use ½ a cup of BBQ sauce then combine that with ¼ cup of Mayonnaise and a ¼ cup of any hot sauce (I personally use sriracha for that hint of sweetness that comes with it. And just ½ a teaspoon of garlic will finish of the sauce.

Burger: first step is to have the 8 ounces of ground beef turns into 2 4 ounce beef beef patty. Make sure that the beef patties are very thin. next place both the beef patty on the frying pan at the same time with a little bit of oil on medium to high heat. Immediallty press down both burgers with a metal spatula for 60-90 seconds the flip press again for another 10 seconds then add a slice of Swiss cheese to each patty and put a lid on the pan till the cheese looks like it has melted all over the burger.

Bun: Put both of the buns into a toaster until the center is golden brown and the edges are little charred.

Assembly: First put the bottom bun onto a plate then put on a small spoonful of the Hot BBQ aioli onto the bun then put the first patty on top. Next put the 3 pickle chip on then put the second patty on. put the cooked onions on then on the top bun put a little bit of the aioli on it then place it on top the burger.

This is a very big burger for a lot of people so I would recommend that you cut it in half then eat it.
